Founder & President, KASA Hotel Collection
As a long-time real estate investor, Richard founded KASA Hotel Collection to develop, own and operate luxury hotels throughout the Caribbean and the Americas.
After graduating from University in England with a degree in Mathematical Sciences (vowing never to do anything that boring ever again), Richard left those sunny shores and headed to the USA. Here, his investing career began in venture capital and the stock market, which eventually led to a variety of real estate ventures in California and Florida. Combining his love of travel with his keen eye for opportunity, Richard ended up in Mexico’s Riviera Maya and was one of the first foreigners to land-bank large tracts of land. After opening one of the largest and most successful real estate brokerages in the area, he also began developing condos, houses, hotel-condos and hotels.
With the success of each company - development, construction and real estate brokerage - it was only natural for him to begin developing resort hotels. To date, Richard has already successfully developed five properties with more than 250 rooms.
Richard has also assembled a world-class Executive Team and secured KASA’s association with Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Looking toward the future, there are two hotels slated to open each year for the next five years in the KASA Hotel Collection’s current hotel and development pipeline.
Chief Operating Officer
Victor has more than nine years of experience overseeing what has grown into a 70-member team at IPM, where he has been responsible for handling all financial statements, budget reports, legal documentation, taxes and external audits for a variety of real estate projects in Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
He studied Graphic Design at La Salle University in Cancun, where he developed a strong sense of professionalism, patience, and precise attention to detail. At IPM, he worked to develop and lead the marketing department for more than five years, before moving on to develop the administration team, including finance, HR, accounting and operations. Victor has always demonstrated considerable strength in analyzing numbers, creating order and developing business systems, including successful delegation, administration and managing people from many different backgrounds.
HR Manager
Rosa has demonstrated strong leadership and team-building skills, along with a drive to continue increasing her professional skills and knowledge. She has a strong background in Human Resources, having served as head of the department at The Carmen Hotel and the Hotel Mahekal Beach Resort, as well as Assistant HR Director for Palace Resorts.
Rosa has a proven history of success with recruitment and staff selection, including personnel administration, payroll, settlement negotiation, loss calculation and handling of labor conflicts. She is also skilled at preparing and maintaining an HR budget and overseeing basic staff training, as well as providing support and compliance follow-up with labor obligations.
Area Manager
Jorge is a veteran multi lingual hospitality executive working with some of the top brands in the world including Viceroy Hotels in South Beach, Riviera Maya Mexico and Anguilla, as well the world famous Las Ventanas (a Rosewood property) in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Furthermore, he has opened hotels in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Honduras. He has a well rounded knowledge of all financial reporting, budgeting, monthly reporting and key performance indicators.
Spa Director
Vanessa has worked at some of the best spas in the world, including Viceroy Riviera Maya, Azulik Tulum and One & Only Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas, which was named Best Spa in North America and South America by Spa & Wellness Awards in 2016. During a previous tenure at Capella in Cabo San Lucas, Vanessa’s expertise also earned the titles of Best Spa in the World 2012 from Travel & Leisure; Best Spa in Mexico and Latin America from Conde Nast Traveler and recognition among the Top 10 Most Romantic Spas in the World from Spa Finder.
Operations Manager
Anais has an extensive background in all aspects of the hospitality industry including F+B, Rooms, Front desk as well as Sales + Marketing. She has worked at luxury properties including Nizuc Resort & Spa, Fiesta Americana and Oasis resorts.

For almost 20 years now, Aldo has been involved in many aspects of finance and administration for both large and small businesses, as well as national and international operations. Most recently Also has worked with Grupo Morgana Hotels and Quadrans Law & Finance Firm.

Alberto is a former associate at Baker & McKenzie and Associate General Counsel International at Apple Leisure Group. He has been involved in several M&A and real estate transactions, for tourism, industrial, commercial and/or residential purposes, including creation of condominium, fractional property and timeshare regimes, trust agreements, joint venture agreements, hotel management and operation agreements and built to suit agreements, among others.
